Back over his course this time on paper, instead of a Halifax, flies Flight Sergeant Norman Marshall of 7189 Nagle St., Detroit, Michigan, member of a squadron of the R.C.A.F. Bomber Group. F/Sgt. Marshall has just completed his 14th sortie as navigator of one of the Canadian Group’s heavy bombers and is reporting to his section leader following his return from Karlsruhe.

Halifax KW-P, LW375, airborne Tholthorpe at 21:25, April 24, 1944, target Karlsruhe. Landed back at Tholthorpe at 04:10, 25 April, followed by the debriefing seen on the photo.

Cette fois-ci, c’est le sergent de section Norman Marshall du 7189, rue Nagle, Détroit, Michigan, membre d’un escadron du R.C.A.F. Bomber Group, qui revient cette fois sur son itinéraire sur carte au lieu d’être à bord d’un Halifax. Le sergent Marshall vient de terminer sa 14e sortie en tant que navigateur de l’un des bombardiers lourds du Groupe canadien et fait son rapport au chef de sa section après son retour de Karlsruhe.
