Jacques Arthur DesBaillets (1910-1990) was a French-Canadian radio and television personality. He was an extraordinary artist whose work as a radio and television host was very popular in his day and who is considered an important figure in the early development of both mass media in Quebec.
During the war years (1941-1943), he worked as a foreign correspondent for Radio Canada (the public broadcaster of French Canada) based in London, where he witnessed first-hand the carnage of the Blitz. His assignments included interviewing Canadian forces stationed in England, particularly the French-Canadian regiments Les Fusiliers de Montréal and the Vandoos, and reporting on the war for returning listeners. After the war, he met his wife Joan McCort, where they both worked for the CBC (the public broadcaster in English Canada) in the International Radio Service.
Four Alouettes met Jacques DesBaillets in 1963.

This photo is part of the collection of Jean-Paul Michaud shared by his daughter. He can be seen sitting to the left of Jacques DesBaillets. The other Alouettes are in order Armand Meilleur DFC, Robert Bruyère DFM and Lucien Marcotte DFC.
I already knew the name Lucien Marcotte who was a friend of Tony Brassard DFC, another Alouette. The two other names didn’t mean anything to me before reading the caption.

The article is interesting to read if you can read French.
